ABOUT G.L.O.W.S. UNVEILED™
More Than a Retreat. A Sisterhood. A Place to Become.
Every woman has a story. Every scar has a history. And every woman deserves the opportunity to discover that life doesn't end where the pain began.
G.L.O.W.S. — God Loves Our Wounds & Scars — is a faith-centered women's movement creating intentional spaces for healing, connection, creativity, restoration, and personal growth.
We believe women deserve more than another event where they're inspired for a moment and return home carrying the same weight. We believe in real conversations, genuine relationships, room to breathe, and experiences that remind women they are more than what they've survived.
Through retreats, creative experiences, honest conversations, and meaningful community, we're bringing women together to rediscover joy, embrace their stories, and move forward with renewed purpose.
Because here, you don't have to pretend you've got it all together to belong.

Her message is simple:
“I am not the woman I am today because life was easy. I am living proof that God can heal what life has wounded.”
MEET THE FOUNDER
A Woman of Faith. A Survivor. A Living Testimony of God's Healing Power.
Apostle Sandy Love is the Senior Pastor of Church of the Outcast, located in Cedar Hill, Texas. A proud United States Army veteran, she holds degrees in Criminal Justice and International Relations, along with a Master's degree in Legal Studies.
To many, these accomplishments tell a story of strength, leadership, and success. But behind the titles, degrees, and achievements is a woman who has walked through seasons that could have silenced her voice and shattered her future.
Apostle Sandy Love has never forgotten the hard truths of her own journey—being raised in foster care, experiencing human trafficking as a teenager, and overcoming circumstances that once threatened to define her life. But her story did not end where her pain began. Those experiences became part of the heartbeat behind G.L.O.W.S. — God Loves Our Wounds & Scars. Her vision is rooted in a powerful conviction: no woman's past should disqualify her from experiencing God's love, healing, restoration, or purpose.
Through G.L.O.W.S., Apostle Sandy Love desires to be more than a voice encouraging women to heal. She wants her life to stand as living proof that God can restore what life has wounded, redeem what others have discarded, and bring purpose out of even the most painful beginnings.
That same heart is reflected in Church of the Outcast—a church where people are welcomed as they are, regardless of their backgrounds, struggles, or stories. It is a place built on the belief that everyone deserves an opportunity to encounter God's love without first having to pretend they have it all together.
For Apostle Sandy Love, G.L.O.W.S. is deeply personal. It is not simply a retreat, an event, or another ministry initiative. It is an invitation for women to discover that their wounds are not their identity, their scars are not their shame, and their stories are still being written. Because if God could bring her through, she believes there is hope for every woman still finding her way.
OUR COMMITMENT
We Don't Just Create Events. We Create Room for Women to Become.
At G.L.O.W.S. — God Loves Our Wounds & Scars — our commitment is to create intentional spaces where women are welcomed without judgment, encouraged without comparison, and valued beyond their past experiences.
We believe healing should never require a woman to hide her story, pretend she is strong, or apologize for needing support. Whether she comes seeking rest, meaningful connection, renewed faith, or simply a moment to breathe, she deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and genuine care.
We stand for women having the freedom to be seen, heard, supported, and celebrated—without having to prove they deserve a place at the table.
Our commitment extends beyond the retreat experience. We desire to cultivate a sisterhood that encourages women to embrace their identities, rediscover joy, develop healthy connections, and move forward with purpose.
Because at G.L.O.W.S., we don't believe women should spend their entire lives simply surviving what happened to them. We believe they deserve the opportunity to truly live. You don't have to be completely healed to belong here. You just have to come as you are.

“Your wounds deserve compassion. Your scars deserve no shame. Your voice deserves to be heard. And your future deserves more than your past.”
THE HEART BEHIND G.L.O.W.S.
“You are more than what happened to you. You are not forgotten. And your story is not over.”

How G.L.O.W.S. Began. Born From a Story of Survival. Built With a Heart for Healing.
Every movement has a beginning. Some begin with a dream, others with a vision. G.L.O.W.S. began with a heartbeat—a desire to create a place where women could be more than survivors. They could learn how to live again.
G.L.O.W.S., which stands for God Loves Our Wounds & Scars, was born from the heart and personal journey of Apostle Sandy Love, a woman who understands that healing is not always a straight road and that surviving life's most difficult experiences does not automatically mean we have learned how to live beyond them.
Having experienced the realities of foster care, human trafficking, rejection, and life's unexpected hardships, Apostle Sandy Love recognized something powerful: many women have mastered the art of surviving while silently struggling to embrace the freedom, joy, and wholeness they deserve. From that understanding came a vision to create something different.
Not another gathering where women feel pressured to appear strong. Not another event where everyone leaves inspired for a moment but never has room to address what they've been carrying.
Instead, G.L.O.W.S. was envisioned as a place where women could exhale. A place where laughter and healing could coexist, where difficult conversations could happen without judgment, and where faith, creativity, rest, and genuine sisterhood could become part of the journey toward restoration.
The name itself carries the message: God loves us in the midst of our wounds and scars—not simply after they have healed.
As G.L.O.W.S. continues to grow, its purpose remains the same: to create intentional experiences that remind women they are seen, valued, loved, and never forgotten.
Today, G.L.O.W.S. UNVEILED™ carries that vision forward through women's retreats and experiences designed to cultivate authentic connections, meaningful conversations, personal growth, and renewed hope.
Because our history is not simply about how G.L.O.W.S. began. It's about why we believe every woman deserves the opportunity to begin again.
We survived. Now, let's discover what it means to truly live.
